Hello everyone. I'm delighted to share a new project exploring the Substance workflow.
This project centers around the collaboration within the Substance ecosystem. For instance, it covers the purpose and application scenarios of creating material libraries and custom tools, as well as using Substance automation to batch - generate assets, aiming to reduce repetitive and time - consuming tasks in projects.
A special thanks to my brilliant colleague, Eric Lautard, for helping me complete the part of the automation code.
Hope you'll like it.
All of this is accomplished through automation, with no human intervention.
After opening the automatically generated Pt file, it can be edited a second time according to the parameters of the pre - generator.
Use the fill function of Path in combination with anchor points to achieve the effect of connecting golden edges.
Use the Spline toolset in Ds to create a graphic library, and then quickly create texture details in Pt by Warp projection.
Link the custom material with Path to generate materials and displacements.
A generator customized according to the architectural features and model specifications. In Pt, use anchor points to link masks for customized drawing.
It is applicable not only to roofs but also to different types of model components.
We can also switch different types of materials to create more diverse components. The base structure of the building is also made with this tool.
